The sea in the south of Russia has cooled down, the velvet season can be considered completed. This was stated by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand, writes TASS.
In Sochi, the water temperature is still 21 degrees, but in Anapa, for example, it is already only 16 degrees, he stressed. In Feodosia and Yevpatoria, it dropped to 17 degrees. The air temperature is about the same in the resorts of Krasnodar Krai and Crimea now.
According to Vilfand, cold air masses arrive in the south of the European part of Russia, that is, there is no need to wait for heat there. At the same time, abnormally warm weather for this time of year will be established in the north of the country in the coming days, and in the regions of the Urals and Southwestern Siberia, on the contrary, it will be colder than usual.
