Sunbathing on the lawn in the city Park can be dangerous. About the reasons told in an interview to radio Sputnik entomologist, doctor of biological Sciences, leading researcher, Institute of ecology and evolution RAS Anatoly Zakharov.

With the advent of heat in city parks, there are many sunbathers. Someone gets in specially equipped areas, but many prefer to sunbathe just on the lawn. It can be dangerous for two reasons — mites and substances which lawns are treated against these insects, warned Anatoly Zakharov.

"Ticks carry many dangerous and serious diseases like encephalitis. And if you handle the lawn to such an extent that there remained mites, it can also be dangerous, because by itself, the chemical, which kills ticks are dangerous to humans. If city parks are handled diligently, you’d better not there to sunbathe," says etomology.

Anatoly Zakharov told radio Sputnik, what to do if you really want to sunbathe in the Park.

"Everyone is sunbathing on the grass on the lawn is a kind of bait, test for the presence of mites. You do it at your own risk. I would advise not to sunbathe on the grass and to put a cot or some chair and sunbathe there. In any case you should periodically inspect themselves for ticks", — told radio Sputnik Anatoly Zakharov
