the Victim was admitted to the regional hospital №4 in the morning, informs a portal 72.ru. She explained that she ate a lot of fatty food and therefore was trying to provoke vomiting with a fork, but the instrument slipped from his hands, and it accidentally swallowed.
After an x-ray confirmed the words of 26-year-old patient, medical personnel tried to retrieve the object with an endoscope, but her fork had to go down into the stomach. In the result, it was decided to conduct emergency surgery, which took 35 minutes.
As the surgeon said Taleh Yusifov, the patient was lucky because the sharp edges of the instrument from damaging the stomach wall. Otherwise, she could begin peritonitis or gastrointestinal bleeding.
