Unmanned vehicles “Yandex” started to drive in the city of Ann arbor in the U.S. state of Michigan. According to the company, this is the second test area outside Russia, in addition to tel Aviv in Israel.

On the roads of Ann arbor can be found the fourth generation on the basis of the Hyundai Sonata that was introduced in the beginning of June 2020. Ann arbor is a University town which is home to more than 120 thousand people. It is located near the automotive capital of the United States – the city of Detroit.

Recall that in Michigan unmanned vehicles allowed to travel on the roads without a test engineer at the wheel. The company hopes that this will expand the experience gained in Innopolis, where almost two years of running Europe’s first service robotaxi without a driver.
