Studies of Venus have importance from the point of view of prevention of probable greenhouse disaster on Earth.

Russian scientists plan to equip the automatic station “Venera-D” special cameras in order to shoot panorama of the planet’s surface and landing station. This was stated by head of the Department of optical and physical research space research Institute (IKI) Russian Academy of Sciences Roman Bessonov.

“We have previously worked for "Venus-D" camera that can shoot panorama of the planet and landing,” said Besson in an interview with TASS.

Television stations will have a special design, said the scientist. Due to the incredibly high temperatures and pressure on the surface of Venus, the lenses will have to set inside of a spacecraft.

“the Front part of the lens will be installed outside the light guide and the back of the lens,” – said the scientist.

The Russian program for the study of Venus suggests launch at least three spacecraft. The first expedition is to be held at the end of 2020-ies.
