According to him, mobile groups from repair – restoration battalion started from the monuments of legendary tanks – is-2 and T-34. The military cleared of grass and debris, washed pedestals, cleaned of any corrosion and prepared corps combat vehicles for painting. Recovery crews will also lubricate the components, machinery and will update the markings of the tanks and conduct the repair of the pedestals.

in addition, the Russian military will hold the restoration of the monument to the Hero pilot Michael Pawelcome and the memorial complex of the soldiers of the 201st Gatchina motorized rifle division located in the territory of the HDR.

Stationed in Tajikistan, the 201st military base — the largest military facility of Russia abroad, is located in two cities — Dushanbe and Bokhtar. Signed in October 2012 by the presidents of the two countries to the agreement, the connection will remain in Tajikistan until 2042.
