Russian-Belarusian relations and the Norwegian oil: a review of the Kremlin

Between Minsk and Moscow are in constant consultations at the expert and high level contacts between the presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko are planned. If oil from Norway costs end up cheaper than the Russian, the Minsk profitable to buy it, said Dmitry Peskov.

However, experts doubt that the Norwegian oil, similar in its properties to the Russian, will be in the end given the cost of its transportation is cheaper than Russian. The Minsk talks on oil supplies from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, USA, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
