the state Duma is preparing a bill on criminal punishment for incitement of minors to riots. This was stated by the Deputy of “United Russia” Evgeny Marchenko, who initiated this bill.
Marchenko said that in Russian legislation there is article of the criminal code, stipulating liability for involvement of children in antisocial activity, but there still was no point of participation in mass riots.
“I would like to add this article to another wrongful act – the involvement of minors in the demonstrations that it was not an administrative offence and a criminal offence”, – explained the RIA “Novosti” Marchenko.
the Deputy, suggested to punish for involving children in the riots with deprivation of liberty for a term up to 10 years.
