Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia urged the international community to remember the lessons of the Second world war, and not close our eyes to the manifestations of nationalism. He said this during a speech on the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

“We must not forget who did this evil thing, who was the mastermind and carried out the Holocaust, who started the war and brought grief to tens of millions. We should also not forget their accomplices who helped them, whatever their motives”, — said Vasily sebenza.
According to him, it is important to learn the lesson of history to prevent such catastrophes as the Holocaust and the Second world war.
“that is why we are uncompromising attempts to rewrite history, to equate the victims and the aggressors,” he said.
