Russia is not guilty of involvement in the collapse of the Malaysian “Boeing”, shot down in 2014 in the sky over Ukraine, said the Russian Ministry of justice. So the representatives of the Ministry responded to the news that the Netherlands plans to sue Russia in the European court of human rights (ECHR), according to "Interfax".

Earlier, as reported “the Rambler”, the Netherlands has announced its intention to appeal to the ECHR with a demand to bring Russia to responsibility in the case of the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing, carrying out flight MH17, which was shot down in 2014 over Ukraine. It was also noted that, together with the complaint from the state court will be transferred to individual complaints from relatives of the dead passengers on Board.

The justice Ministry said that Russia rejects accusations that it has any relation to disaster. Representatives of the Ministry stressed that the incident occurred in the sky over the territory, which does not apply the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation. The experts also noted that consideration of the complaint will take several years.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, commenting on the news of the complaint of the Netherlands at the ECHR, said that the initiative of the Hague – another blow to bilateral relations, RIA Novosti reported. The representatives stressed that in the case of the Netherlands initially took the position in the framework of the “anti-logic”. According to them, appeal to the ECHR will complicate the “search for truth” and will lead to excessive politicization of the situation.
