MOSCOW, 1 may – RIA Novosti. Penalties are enforced on may 1 in Russia for violation of requirements to anti-terrorist protection of religious sites, the relevant article introduced into Code of administrative offences.

In December 2019 was adopted the Federal law amending the Code of administrative offences. In particular, Chapter 20 of the Code was supplemented with article 20.35 – “Violation of requirements to anti-terrorist security of objects (territories) and objects (territories) of religious organizations”.

the Second part of this article shall enter into force on 1 may. It involves a penalty for citizens – from 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, for officials – from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles.

This punishment, according to law, provided for “violation of requirements to anti-terrorist security of objects (territories) of religious organizations or obstruction of the activities of persons in the exercise of its responsibilities or security requirements for anti-terrorist security of objects (territories) of religious organizations if these actions do not contain signs of penal act”.
