Russia in the coming days will decide on OPEC+

Russia will take a decision on possible reduction of oil production in the framework of the agreement of OPEC countries+ in the coming days.

“I think in the coming days. How the situation will evolve, take a look in the next few days”, — told reporters the Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak.

a Day earlier, the technical Committee OPEC+ decided to recommend to ministerm OPEC to cut oil production by 600 thousand barrels a day.

a Ministerial meeting could be convened in February. The parties will evaluate the impact of coronavirus on demand. In the first days of the beginning of February, oil prices have stabilized after falling by 15 percent. China, the largest consumer of fuel in January reduced the demand for oil by 20 percent by the end of January, or by 3 million barrels.
