“Roskosmos” reported that on 29 July was performed the correction of the orbit of the International space station.

It is noted that the engines of the cargo ship “Progress MS-14”, which have undergone correction, included in 16:57 GMT to 336 seconds, as a result, ISS received a boost at 0.65 m/s.

“After the corrective maneuver, the average height of the ISS orbit increased by 1.1 km”, — stated in the message.

“Roskosmos” reported that this operation was carried out with a view to the formation of ballistic conditions, before the launch of manned spacecraft “Soyuz MS-17”.

Earlier it was reported that the cargo spacecraft “Progress MS-15”, launched from Baikonur with the carrier rocket “Soyuz-2.1 a”, docked to the ISS.
