The state Duma on Tuesday, July 7, adopted in the second and third readings of the law toughening requirements to gambling organizers and operators of lotteries. The document was initiated by the Russian government.
In accordance with the new law the persons having outstanding conviction for crimes in the sphere of economy or crimes against state power, can not act as founders or participants and beneficiaries of the organizer of gambling and the lottery operator. A similar ban will apply to persons who committed especially grave crimes, or deliberate crimes of medium gravity.
In addition, the founders of the organizer of gambling will not be legal entities registered in the territories or in States not providing the provision and disclosure of information. We are talking about financial transactions, the list of which is approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
This law will enter into force 90 days after the date of its official publication, the Agency reports city news “Moscow”.
