Autograph Vladimir Putin, left in 1995 when the politician was appointed head of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg, sold for 48 thousand rubles. About TASS reported the press service of the Russian auction house.

"Putin’s signature sold for 48 thousand rubles, postauction sale. Buyer – private person", – said the representative of the press service.

The autograph was put up for auction in St. Petersburg on 17 June, but buyers on it were not found. According to the source Agency, the interest in the lot began to show after the auction.

Bid was presented 357 lots (sold 50%). Among them publications on the history, Finance, law, art, literature, books for children and books in foreign languages, descriptions of countries and cities, as well as autographs, engravings, lithographs, posters, trading cards and movie posters. The most expensive lot was the autograph of the writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, left in the edition of "Notes from the dead house" (1875). It was sold for 5.5 million rubles.
