Putin urged former Soviet republics to unite

Fears of revival of the Soviet Union in post-Soviet countries are gradually being overcome, as the pooling of efforts would benefit all. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the "Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin" on channel "Russia-1".

"it is Necessary to say about it: overcoming some of the fears of the past, overcoming fears about the revival of the Soviet Union and the Soviet Empire, still an understanding that combining efforts [is] to the benefit of all, making headway inevitably", – said the Russian leader.

According to him, all participants of integration processes in the former Soviet Union feel these benefits.

As noted by the President of the Russian Federation, anywhere in the world countries are trying to improve their competitiveness through joint efforts.

"For the republics of the former Soviet Union it is an absolutely natural thing", – said Putin.
