Russian President Vladimir Putin on red square in Moscow with a parade on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the great Patriotic war. This year it was held on June 24: due entered during a pandemic coronavirus quarantine the ceremony had to be postponed.

During his speech at the parade, Putin said that the victory in the great Patriotic war determined the future of the planet for decades to come, and “will forever remain in history as the most ambitious in its scale, importance and spiritual, moral height”.

According to him, the parade went down in history “as a triumph of unprecedented power, as the triumph of good over evil, peace over war, life over death.” “Today we bow our heads before the memory of all who came from the war. Mourn the veterans who have left us,” he said. Putin noted that the country will always remember what the Nazis crushed the Soviet people: “we are Pleased to welcome your friends, guests from different countries. Honor all the brave fighters of anti-Hitler coalition. The face of today’s challenges especially keenly feel what it is worth — man.” He called to preserve the truth about the war and said that Russia is ready to cooperate in the sphere of security.
