In difficult times the Russian people have always rallied around the ideas of patriotism and love of country. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on air of TV channel “Russia 1”, RIA Novosti reported.
Putin added that the Russians have always had and have the realization that “either we win, or we will not.” The third option for the people of Russia, the President said.
Earlier Vladimir Putin said that Russia’s national idea is to patriotism, but it should not be “leavened, musty and sour.” He added that patriotism should be devoted to the development of the country, and it is necessary not only to remember the heroic past, but to look into a successful future.
