Deputy Chairman of the coordination Council for the fight against COVID-19, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin told the head of state about the change in the severity of coronavirus infection of the new type from the Russians. She stated this at a meeting devoted to the sanitary-epidemiological situation in Russia, the live broadcast which led the TV channel “Russia 24” on YouTube.
“To 41.4% increase in the number of citizens who have asymptomatic illness” — reported to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin. According to her, the number of patients who COVID-19 proceeds in moderate severity, decreased to 34.9%. Severe patients was 1.4% lower and amounted to 4.2%, said Deputy Prime Minister.
Golikova also noted a decrease in the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Over the past 10 days, this figure amounted to 22.5%, daily growth rate was 3.7% for the period.
To prevent the infection spread, the prevalence rate shall not exceed the unit, she added.
