The President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the ex-President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, noting his achievements in the development of Kazakhstan. It is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the first President of the Republic.

"From the very first meeting we have established a really good and friendly relations which have always been characterised by openness, mutual trust and willingness to find joint solutions to any, even the difficult issues", – stated in the message.

He added that he appreciates and is proud of long-standing friendship with Nazarbayev.

Nursultan Nazarbayev has led Kazakhstan since 1990 to 2019.
