Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Amur Region, where he will pay a visit to the Vostochny cosmodrome.
As RIA Novosti reports with reference to its correspondent, the president made a stop in the Amur Region on the way from Vladivostok, where he took part in the Eastern Economic Forum.
It is known that Putin will inspect the construction of infrastructure facilities at the Vostochny cosmodrome, including the command post and the Angara launch complex. There, the Russian leader will also hold a working meeting with the governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov.
On the same day, the President will present state awards to liquidators of the consequences of natural fires and floods.
Earlier, at a meeting of the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin called the conditions that must be met for the conclusion of a peace treaty between Russia and Japan.
According to him, this agreement should meet the requirements of the time, ensuring a peaceful future. So, Moscow considers it necessary to prescribe in it a guarantee that the American armed forces and strike systems will not suddenly appear near our borders.
“These questions have been put to the Japanese side, we have not yet received answers. Therefore, I believe that in this sense, the ball is on the side of our partners, ” he said.
At the same time, the Russian president stressed that the absence of a peace treaty between the countries is nonsense, given the mutual interest of Tokyo and Moscow in developing cooperation.
