Vladimir Putin approved the new composition of the presidential quota of the Public chamber. The corresponding decree published on the official portal of legal information.
In the approved list included 40 people – the farmer, the participant of the contest “Russia’s Leaders. Policy”, member of the popular front Oleg Sirota, academician Leo Bokeria, athlete-Paralympic Sergey Burlakov.
Also became members of the chamber singer and public figure Diana Gurtskaya, the head of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics Federation Irina Viner-Usmanova, chess player Sergey Karjakin and others.
All candidates have special merits before the state and society. At least half of them represent professional and creative unions and other associations protecting the interests of other people.
the Public chamber (OP) of the 168 members are elected every three years. Of these, 40 members appointed by the President, another 85 are nominated by the public chamber of the RF subjects and 43 participants from the all-Russian public associations.
