The theme of the current situation in Belarus was addressed on Wednesday in a telephone conversation of presidents of Russia and France Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.

Combat coronavirus
Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel macron also discussed cooperation in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
"highlighted the importance of continued cooperation for spread of coronavirus infection, including those subject to registration in the Russian vaccine for prevention of the disease", – stated in the message following the conversation between the two leaders.
Help to residents of Lebanon
The presidents of Russia and France discussed the situation in Lebanon after the explosion that occurred at the time of Beirut.
"Detail the situation in the Lebanese Republic with an emphasis on being made by Russia and France, measures to provide humanitarian assistance to the Lebanese population after the explosion in the port of Beirut August 4", – stated in the message.
Putin also conveyed condolences in connection with death of French citizens in the South-West of Niger.
Putin and macron have agreed to continue working together to resolve the situation in Ukraine within the Normandy format. The Russian leader stressed the importance of strict implementation of the Kiev commitments on the political aspects of the Minsk agreements.
