the President of Russia Vladimir Putin does not exclude that he will run for President for another term, if the amendment to the Constitution will be adopted. He told this in an interview for the film “Russia. The Kremlin. Putin” on TV channel “Russia-1”.
He urged officials not to seek his successor.
“we have to Work, and not successors to look… you Know, I say absolutely frankly: if it is not, two years later, I know that from experience already, instead of the normal smooth operation on many levels of government will start the roving eyes in search of possible successors”, — said the President.
Recall that one of the amendments provides for the nullification of presidential terms of Putin.
the vote on the amendments to the Constitution will be held on 1 July. Residents of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region will be able to vote online from 25th to 30th June.
