The Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on information policy and interaction with mass media Alexei Pushkov ridiculed the statement of former Director of the national security Council and defense (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov on the ready “to storm the Crimea.”
“Turchynov decided to show a rare courage and a willingness to stand “in the forefront of the assault battalion”, because he knows that the order to storm the Crimea will not. Zelensky such an order does not give as gave Poroshenko. But to attract media attention to his pseudo-heroism – is another matter”, – wrote Pushkov in his Twitter.
In turn, the Senator from the Crimean region, a member of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Sergei Tsekov questioned the mental health Turchinov, RIA “Novosti”.
“This is a very outrageous statement. The big question about the mental state and balance of the Turchinov, who reproduce like crazy and inappropriate statements. If Turchynov thinks to storm the Crimea, we suggest that he immediately to calm to take the white flag. If someone actually decides to declare war on Russia, then for this they should immediately surrender,” – said Tsekov.
The Senator expressed confidence that Turchinov and Ukrainian politicians like him are not able to objectively assess the current international situation and propose a positive agenda for Ukraine.
“They still are on the warpath, considering the main enemy of the Russian Federation. Although people who objectively assess the situation, understand that the main enemy of Ukraine is personalities like Turchynov and Ukrainian nationalists”, – said Tsekov.
We will remind, on Friday the former head of the national security Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov expressed readiness “to storm the Crimea”, if the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky decides.
