Senator Alexei Pushkov on his Twitter page commented on the categorical unwillingness of President Vladimir Zelensky to come to the Victory parade in Moscow.

The Senator was not surprised with the statement of the Ukrainian leader.

"Zelensky in an interview with "The Globe and Mail" confirmed my assessment: even if he was invited to the Victory Parade, he would not go to Moscow", – wrote Pushkov.

According to him, these words Zelensky once again showed the correctness of the decision not to send him an invitation.

The traditional Victory day parade, held may 9, was cancelled due to pandemic coronavirus. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the postponement of the celebration on June 24.
