Listeria can cause the notifiable and highly contagious infectious disease listeriosis. It can cause diarrhea and nausea and is particularly dangerous for small children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.


There are many different Jay products in the current recall

All batches of the products mentioned with a best-before date between January 14, 2023 and March 23, 2023 are currently affected. They should no longer be consumed. These include vegan alternatives to blue cheese, brie, camembert or goat cheese. But also alternatives to feta, grated cheese and foie gras.

The manufacturer recommends returning the affected products to the point of sale.
