Five captured Russian soldiers have recounted atrocities committed by their own commander in a video shown by the Daily Mail. He simply shot Russian soldiers because they were wounded. The men could have been saved.
“A wounded soldier is lying on the ground and the battalion commander shoots him. He was a young man who was wounded. He was on the ground. He was asked if he could walk, he was shot,” says one of the soldiers. Another prisoner adds that this was not an isolated case. “The commander was running around. He shot four or five wounded men. They were all young men.”
A third soldier begins to cry as he adds something. “They could have been saved, they could have been helped, they could have been taken away. But he simply shot them.” The video does not show when and where this incident happened.
