Pandemic coronavirus prevented the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry to get us citizenship. Reported by the Daily Express.

Prince Harry is in the U.S. for the fourth month, he did not attempt to obtain American citizenship.

“the Duke did not apply for dual citizenship, and I don’t think he intends at some point to apply for a green card” — says a source close to the British Royal family.

The delay may be associated with a pandemic of novel coronavirus infection, which prevented the Prince to implement their plans.

It remains unknown whether Harry’s diplomatic or other visa, or he invoked his right to a 90-day visa-free stay in the United States, which is the UK citizens. After expiry of this period the Prince could get a tourist visa, however, it prohibits work that may be contrary to his plans.

A green card is an immigrant visa USA. The owner has the right to permanent residence in the United States and in legal terms is equivalent to an American citizen, not only having the right to vote or participate in jury duty.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles from Canada at the end of March. In January it was reported that initially the couple wanted to stay in Canada as long as Donald trump will not leave the post of President of the United States. They had to hurry with the move due to the pandemic.
