Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin married Marcus Raikkonen, with whom they live together for 16 years.
“I am happy and grateful that I can share my life with a loved one,” wrote Marin in social networks.
the Wedding took place on 1 August at the official residence of the Prime Minister of Finland Kesaranta in Helsinki.
Marin met with Raikkonen when she was 18 years old. In the summer of 2016, they became engaged, but the official ceremony was postponed, including for the reconstruction of the residence Kesaranta. At the same white dress in which Marin was at the ceremony, she first showed at the reception in 2018 and then said he wanted to appear in it at the wedding.
Her husband is the Director of communications at one of the companies. Their common daughter is now 2.5 years.
