Negotiating difficulties between the clubs: Unlike Vagnoman and Stuttgart, HSV and Stuttgart had not agreed for a long time. The two clubs had different ideas about the amount of the transfer fee. Ultimately, the Hamburgers collect 3.5 million euros for the 21-year-old and potential bonuses of 800,000 euros.
