The former President of Ukraine, leader of “European solidarity” Petro Poroshenko said that Kiev has allegedly appeared “unique possibility” to return to the Crimea.

Poroshenko believes that in the face of falling oil prices and “deep crisis” supposedly unfolding in Russia, Kiev may strengthen international solidarity and to “force Moscow to withdraw from Crimea”, as it supposedly “not able” to Fund the Peninsula, RIA “Novosti”.

Ukrainian politicians and public figures regularly perform with a variety of initiatives and plans which, in their opinion, will allow to “return” the Crimea. In this case, the current and previous official Ukrainian authorities have underlined that do not intend to return the Crimea by force – a military operation called just an individual policy. On the Peninsula such statements repeatedly called dreams and empty hopes.

Crimea became a Russian region after the referendum, more than 96% of the participants voted for reunion with Russia. Despite the strong results of the referendum, Kiev refused to recognize the reunification of Crimea with Russia and considers it “occupied” territory. President Vladimir Putin stressed that the question of supplies of Crimea is closed completely.
