the Chief sanitary doctor of Russia Anna Popova hopes that September 1 classes in Russian schools will start in normal mode. She stated this on Tuesday at a meeting of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation on realization of state policy in the sphere of protection of family and children, which was held by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

“I would Like to draw attention to the fact that we are to go back to school, we hope that in September, as expected, on 1 September,” – said Popov.

Previously, the CPS recommended to introduce in schools a floating timetable. Anna Popova explained that it would help to divide children and to reduce the risk of infection in times of change.
