Vice Prime Minister reminded that the national project envisages the increase in the volume of housing construction by 2024 no less than 120 million square meters per year. And at the end of six months the situation with the input “somewhat worse.”

Such guidance, according to him, require very hard work, and to achieve all the objectives of the national project “need to grow at a very rapid pace”. For comparison: according to Rosstat, the volume of housing commissioning in Russia in 2019 increased by 4.9% compared with the figure for the previous year to 79.4 million square meters.

“Figure of 120 million square meters workable, but as I already said, a number of conditions. If the scale is to see it from 75 to 120 million “squares” – this is an increase of almost 60%. It is an indicator of the whole industry, and for this we need very hard work,” concluded Deputy Prime Minister. He also proposed this year to reduce the interest on mortgage loans to 8% per annum.
