The Verkhovna Rada appealed to parliaments of foreign States to condemn the organization of voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation in the Crimea. The corresponding resolution was supported on Friday by 306 votes of the deputies with 226 required.

In his statement, Glad "strongly protested" in connection with the organization of voting on amendments in the Crimea and requested the speaker of Parliament "to immediately forward the statement to the parliaments of foreign States and international parliamentary organizations," they "gave a legal assessment of the actions of the Russian Federation".

A nationwide vote on the issue of amending the Constitution of the Russian Federation took place from 25 June to 1 July, the main was the last day. The Central election Commission of Russia at the meeting on 3 July adopted a resolution on approval of the results of nationwide voting, according to which, the amendment was supported by 77,92% voted against the amendments to the basic law in favor of 21.27%.

The final turnout for the vote amounted to 67,97%. Almost 91% of voters in Crimea supported the amendments to the Constitution, of 9.08% – voted against. On the Peninsula took part in the vote 1 227 150 people (the turnout was 81,75%).
