The first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on education and science, the former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko in an interview with "NSN" agreed that the coronavirus will circulate, as well as other types of flu and viruses.
"And we should not talk about these extremes, like "stop" and about how to bring the circulation of this virus in coepidemics level" — considers Onishchenko.
In his opinion, now the epidemic process is logical and predictable. The situation with the spread of the virus, according to the Deputy, will quickly return to normal, despite the increase in the number of confirmed cases of the disease.
Also Onishchenko reminded of the need to fulfill the requirements associated with the spread COVID-19, as "today, everything depends on the citizens of Russia".
Former chief sanitary doctor of the country noted that the situation with the spread of the coronavirus "end" after discharge of the last patient and two incubation periods after the last case.
"And when will this last patient, we’ll have to solve and fulfill our requirements," — said Onishchenko.
Earlier the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that it is impossible to completely stop the circulation of coronavirus. She also noted that part of the restrictive measures in Russia will remain until the appearance of the medicine or vaccine.
Pandemic coronavirus infection has affected most countries of the world. Everything in the world recorded more than 3.3 million cases, about 238 thousand people died, more than a million recovered.
