Experts-bomb experts defused an improvised explosive device in the market at metro station “Minsk” in Kiev, wrote in Facebook the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitali Klitschko.
“Just bomb experts defused two improvised explosive devices at the market "Minsk". Around 12:00 p.m. anonymous caller reported on line 102 of mining two Avtokasko at Obolonskiy Prospekt, 26. Law enforcement officers and bomb experts checked the information and found the dangerous items. All people urgently evacuated. The perimeter around the booths took control of the militiamen and rescuers. Explosives strapped between a passenger car and autocycle, neutralized”, – wrote Klitschko.
The press service of the Directorate of the National police of Ukraine in Kyiv confirms the message about the mining and disposal of suspicious objects, but does not report the presence of explosives.
