More than 13 thousand refugees from Syria and other countries gathered in Turkey at the border crossings with Greece, according to Reuters. Earlier, Turkish authorities announced that they would not interfere with their movement in the EU.
Ankara has declared that they will open for the refugees to the border with the European Union, since the latter, according to him, is not fulfilling its financial obligations, and not too actively involved in resolving the Syrian conflict.

Greece announced that over the past day prevented approximately 10 thousand migrants to cross the border without the necessary documents. At the same time, by sea from Turkey to the Greek Islands in the Aegean sea arrived around 500 refugees.
Earlier it was reported about the clashes on the border with Greece. Police used tear gas, and the refugees threw stones at police trying to enter the territory of Greece.
In Turkey are now more than 3.5 million refugees, mainly from Syria, where 9 years of ongoing civil war and intervention of a number of countries, including Russia.

However, the EU never did, citing the fact that Turkey had not fulfilled all required conditions.
