a New Museum complex on red square, d. 5, scheduled to open in late 2023 – early 2024. The Museum exhibition of the Moscow Kremlin should be placed in the complex of buildings within the former quarter of the Middle trading rows, built in the years 1889-1893 on the red square.
As the General Director of Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina, completion of the Museum complex is planned for the end of 2021. But a lot of time needed to transport the collection to set the exhibits in the Windows, to light the set. “The new building will feature a large collection of Byzantine icons, war trophies, and Oriental weapons, flags, a separate room will be devoted to the collection of Faberge. Will also be the hall with the Russian glass, porcelain and halls dedicated to the Russian court and Church culture,” – said Gagarin.
