On March 5, Putin will discuss the amendments to the Constitution with the leaders of Duma factions

Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 5 to meet with the leaders of factions of the State Duma on the eve of the second reading of the bill on amendments to the Constitution.

As transfers TASS, the public was informed in the press service of the Kremlin.

it is Noted that on 18 February with a proposal to hold such a meeting the President asked the head of the faction “United Russia” in the state Duma Sergei Neverov, to which Putin gave his consent, stressing that he would try to meet with the deputies of the lower house for discussion prepare amendments to the basic law.

on 23 January the Russian State Duma unanimously adopted in the first reading the bill introduced by the head of state, the amendments to the Constitution. The document provides for limiting the number of presidential terms, the priority of the basic law over the international agreements to ban officials to have a residence permit in other States, extension of authority of both houses of Parliament and the constitutional court, as well as increased social commitments of the authorities.
