The Ministry of labour and social protection is developing a bill, which envisages the establishment of control over the compliance with Russian civil servants the rules of the Russian language. On Friday the newspaper "Izvestia" with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
"the Bill provides that when conducting tenders for selection in the state (municipal) service will be carried out conformity assessment of the professional level of the candidate qualification requirements for the recruitment of state and municipal services, among which there are requirements for knowledge of the state language of the Russian Federation", – quotes the edition a press-service of the Ministry reported.
In the "United Russia" and the liberal democratic party, the newspaper announced that it will be able to carefully study and evaluate the project after its submission to the lower house of Parliament. In "just Russia" and the Communist party spoke about the opportunity to support the bill.
As reported "news" bill "On amendments to the Federal law "On the state language of the Russian Federation" was developed at the request of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, which the head of state gave at the meeting of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation on the Russian language in November 2019. The Ministry said that the bill will be submitted to the state Duma till September 15 of the current year, the newspaper writes.
