Jean-Loup Dabadi, member of the French Academy, writer, journalist, screenwriter, songwriter and libretto passed away at the age of 81 years. About it the newspaper Figaro said a member of the Academy Frederic Vitu, without specifying the cause of death.

Jean-Loup Dabadi was born in Paris in 1938. His first screenplay co-written with Yves Robert he wrote in 1969 for the film adaptation of the novel of Marcel aimé “Clerambard”. But the real success came to him after working on the film “stuff of life”.

his filmography includes over 40 films, for which he wrote the script alone or together with talented contemporaries. His characters are remembered by the audience for its vivid characters and finely-ability to balance on the edge of Comedy and tragedy. In his films is honored to play such famous actors like Romy Schneider, Yves Montand, Jean Rochefort and many others.

Jean-Loup Dabadi known not only as the author of numerous scripts and novels, but also as a successful songwriter. Songs on his poems performed by Mireille Mathieu and Michel Sardou.
