Eight loaned players are returning to Schalke 04. However, they will most likely have to adjust to a change away from the royal blues.

All gone: After Schalke 04 loaned out eight players after relegation last summer, the promoted team now has to deal with the affected professionals again. “Kicker” reports that the club wants to get rid of all eight: Amine Harit, Ozan Kabak, Can Bozdogan, Dries Wouters, Hamza Mendyl, Münir Levent Mercan, Timo Becker and Rabbi Matondo.

One more: With Nassim Boujellab, Schalke has lent another player. However, his loan at HJK Helsinki runs until the end of the year. Then the club will have to decide this case as well.

Past: Schalke had already parted ways with Sebastian Rudy last year, who moved to 1899 Hoffenheim. Or from Omar Mascarell, who now plays for FC Elche. Both transfers turned out to be negative deals, but at least the royal blues saved high salaries.
