In Western New wing of the Tretyakov gallery continues the exhibition “Russian fairy tale: From Vasnetsov still”. Viewers will be able to see again the work of Viktor Vasnetsov, Mikhail Vrubel, Natalia Goncharova, Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe, and other iconic artists. A pleasant surprise for many will be a temporary exhibition, bringing together large-scale paintings of Vasnetsov from the permanent exhibition – “Three Princess of the underworld”, “Prince Ivan on the Grey Wolf” and “the frog Princess”.
In the building on Krymsky Val, visitors will enjoy a new exhibition “Generation XXI. Gift of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantin Sorokin”, which presents more than 100 works by young contemporary artists Viktor Alimpiev, Taus Makhacheva, David Ter-Oganyan, Alice Ioffe, and many others. The exhibition is open until 16 August.
the Next step of the Tretyakov gallery will be the opening of cinemas. According to Tregulova, they may open until August 1. Very soon will open verandas galleries, and cafes are already open to guests of the Tretyakov gallery.
