The resumption of international flights in Russia depends on certain factors, said the radio station “Moscow speaking” Executive Director of the Association of tour operators of Russia Maya Lomidze. According to her, the conditions of open borders associated with the determination of the timing of the launch of the first overseas flights, and decisions of foreign governments.
The Kremlin told about the opening of borders
The expert explained that the resumption of flights should take place in two stages: the first announcement of the terms of the first stage opening of borders, the second – the decision of foreign countries, recognized as safe for the Russians to take aircraft of domestic airlines.
Earlier, as reported “the Rambler”, Maya Lomidze called the possible timing of the opening of the Russian borders. According to her, hopes for the resumption of international flights in July are not met, therefore, the opening of borders according to the optimistic forecast will not happen before the end of September – beginning of October. According to the pessimistic forecast international flights will start in December 2020. It is noteworthy that the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko said recently that the citizens of Russia can not rely on foreign trips in the coming year.
