Russian Prosecutor General’s office has identified the most corrupt regions of the country, reports RIA "news" with reference to the text of the report of the head of Department Igor Krasnov.

The highest level of corruption recorded in Mordovia, Chuvashia, Kamchatka Krai, and the Arkhangelsk, Bryansk, Magadan, Novgorod, Orenburg, Saratov and Tyumen regions, indicated in the report.

While the lowest level of corruption is recorded in Ingushetia, Khakassia, Altai Krai, Vologda, Moscow, Murmansk, Penza regions, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district, said the attorney General.

In addition, the report Krasnov presents the list of sectors most prone to corruption. One of them included the development of the budget, tendering, asset management, audit and law enforcement, as well as housing and utilities.
