Serbia has no evidence linking Russia to be held in the country in the past few days of anti-government demonstrations, was seen "weirdos" from other States, said the President of Serbia Alexander Vucic.

"I Have no proof of this, and I can say," said Vucic, the TV channel Pink in response to the question about the possible involvement of Russia.

The President noted that on Monday he is scheduled to meet with the Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Alexander Botan-Kharchenko, but did not specify the subject.

Earlier, Serbian Pro-Western NGOs "Center for Euro-Atlantic studies" (CEAS) and a number of local media published information about "Russian track" in anti-government speeches. The Russian Ambassador responded by saying that such accusations are "primitive Russophobic cliches". The Russian foreign Ministry called the reports "stuffing" designed to cast a shadow on the Russian-Serbian partnership.

Speaking about the demonstrations of foreign citizens, Vucic said that most of the Montenegrins. "But I do not think that the Montenegrin service is deeply involved in this", – said the President.

The participants of the protests, which began last week in Belgrade and other Serbian cities, require, among other things, the resignation of President Aleksandar Vucic and protest against plans of the authorities to toughen measures against the spread of coronavirus. The protests have no single organizer or a clear plan of action.
