Sales of fans in Russia from 1 to 20 may 2020 was almost a third higher than sales of the same period of 2019 in terms of money. This is stated in the largest study of fiscal data operator "Platform CRF", which processes information from more than 900 thousand of online banks across the country.
"Fans – an average basket 1 250 rubles, 14% higher than last year. The sales volume in monetary terms increased by 30%, the number of purchases increased by 16%", the study says. While in Moscow the sales volume in money terms increased by 136% and the number of purchases increased almost two times by 98%.
Also Muscovites in the first week of may are often bought split-system air conditioners compared to the same period of 2019 – the number of purchases increased by 132%, while in monetary terms, the sales increased by 116%. In the whole of Russia the number of purchases decreased by 3%.
In Moscow, on average, split-system air conditioners spent 17 200 rubles, in Russia the average check of the purchases made 18 700 rubles.
Earlier, the hydrometeorological center reported that in the European part of Russia in the second half of June is expected to abnormally hot weather. According to scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand, the air temperature in the capital this summer will often exceed the mark plus 30 degrees. The unusually warm weather was observed already in the territory of Western Siberia, in some regions the indicators are higher than the rate for 10-14 degrees.
