From 1 January 2020 the Ukrainian oil company Naftogaz has increased the tariff for Gazprom for the transit of Russian gas to Europe for at least 2%, RBC reports.
it is Noted that in the signed version of the contract between “Naftogaz” and “Gazprom” preserved provision to increase the tariff for the transit of 2%. This was signed by the additional agreement affecting the final terms of transit.
So, if Gazprom decides to increase the supply of gas to Europe, the rate will be applied multiplying factors. The transit rate may rise to 45%.
