Moscow has become the most popular destination for trips on June holidays, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow. The top five also included St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions. According to the tourist service, those who are going to visit the capital from June 11 to 13, interactive and thematic excursions for family holidays and author’s routes are in high demand.

According to her, the top 5 routes in Moscow at the weekend included “Architectural walk on VDNH”, “Acquaintance with Tsaritsyno”, “Walk on the “Charge”, “Weekend in Russian Versailles” and “Moscow in detail: a walk in Gorky Park”.

St. Petersburg took the second place in popularity. Along with trips to the Northern Capital, travelers preferred to explore the surroundings of the city and nearby destinations. These included Pushkin, Kronstadt and Pavlovsk.

The Republic of Tatarstan has become another popular destination for tourists. Travelers actively booked excursions to Kazan, Bolgar and Sviyazhsk on Ruspass. Bus sightseeing tours around the capital of Tatarstan are in particular demand. They allow you to get acquainted with the main sights in one day, and then walk around the places you like on your own.

The Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions also became suitable for a three-day trip.
